Dazong Lake in Yan Cheng City

Yan Cheng Dazong Lake is the biggest and deepest lake of Li Xia area, called “the First Lake in northern Jiangsu”. Dazong Lake is the scenic spot of Yan Cheng.


In ancient China, Dazong lake was a city--Dongjing City. Suddenly it slumped and was submerged by flood. From that time, Dojing City became Dazong Lake. 


Taking a boat on the lake, feeling the cool wind in the afternoon, seeing the sunset, be one member of all the picturesque view. Not very far from your site, there is a tall 25 meters Buddha. It represents sincerity of local public. 


This place is also a wonderland for birds, egret, wild goose... appear with a large of team, flying freely to the sky. Dazong Lake especially sets up an area for sighseeing the birds--Bird Island. Let’s see them in a close range.
