Following the Melbourne exhibition at the beginning of the month, On October 27 another World Travel Expo was held officially in Perth, Australia. Our Chinese station was still popular, which attracted lots of western Australia local people. China National Tourist Office in Sydney and Jiangsu Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism were engaged in promotion of ‘Beautiful China’. Consul dong zhihua of consulate general of Perth came to our booth to support the work.

The most unexpected in present was that most people here had been to China before, and they hoped some day they could be there again. Before lunch, a couple with a lovely boy came to the stand to see how many cities they had travelled to, Beijing, Hangzhou, Suzhou, Wuxi, Shanghai, Guilin, Kunming...the little boy counted. But his mother mentioned that he forgot Nanjing and Chongqing, because at that time she was pregnant!

Except them, you can see a student bring his grandfathers here to investigate and know more about China because of his homework. An old lady who had been to China six times before loved China very much, she plumped out Chinese ancient verse that surprised all the staff. She also said that If you did’t experienced, you had no right to say China wasn’t good, actually the history and the culture of this great country was worth to be respected. Another special guest --retired  master of Western Australia University was very interested in Gan’s courtyard in Nanjing, he planned it as his next destination.

Time really flies cannot restore, three days’ activities was finished, it left us so many beautiful memories. We are looking forward to your visit to China, see you next time, Perth Expo!
