Congratulations! Jiangsu Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism Australia Promotion Center was awarded ‘International Communication Contribution Prize’.

 On March 19, the prize-awarding ceremony of Jiangsu study-tour products was held in Nanjing. Jiangsu Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism published forty-six Jiangsu study-tour products including nature sightseeing, popular science, experience and investigation, cultural and leisure, and motivational development.

Among the prizes, the Official Australia Promotion Center was awarded ‘International Communication Contribution Prize’. Last September, the Official Australia Promotion Center invited students from Tafe and Coomera Anglican College to come to Jiangsu province and learn Jiangsu intangible cultural heritage and other Chinese traditional culture.

The students visited Gan’s Courtyard for paper cutting class, opera face painting class, Jiangnan Embroider...in Nanjing, they experienced Taichi and bamboo craft in Liyang, Changzhou, and learned how to make Chinese Clay Figurine in Wuxi. All the process were shot by students from Tafe.
